Lockwood 202 Exterior Round Corner Plate - Flush Pull & Privacy Indicating Emergency Turn | Satin Stainless Steel
The Lockwood 202 Series Exterior Plate with Flush Pull and Privacy Indicating Emergency Turn is part of the distinguished Artefact range of round corner plate door furniture - designed, assembled and customised in Australia for the Australian market. This exterior plate configuration combines a recessed flush pull with a privacy indicating emergency turn, providing a low-profile pull function alongside occupied/vacant indication for privacy rooms such as accessible bathrooms, ensuites and amenity facilities.
The recessed flush pull sits flush with the plate face, making this configuration ideal for sliding doors and cavity sliders where a projecting pull handle would obstruct the door recess or frame, as well as hinged doors where a minimal exterior profile is preferred. The privacy indicating emergency turn displays the room's occupied or vacant status from the outside, and incorporates an emergency release allowing entry from the exterior in an emergency without damaging the furniture.
The 202 Series features the same 162 x 162mm plate profile as the 200 Series but with 10mm radius corners. Compatible with Lockwood Synergy 3570 and Selector 3770 Series Mortice Locks, latches, and push/pull doors. Supplied in Satin Stainless Steel in both left and right hand.

Helpful Tips
- Exterior plate - pairs with 203 Series: This is the outside face plate. It must be paired with a 203 Series interior plate (round corner) - not a 201 Series (square corner).
- Flush pull vs P1 pull handle: This plate uses a recessed flush pull (Function 35) with no projection from the plate face. If a projecting stainless steel pull handle is preferred, refer to the P1 pull handle variant (20228NN/P1).
- Sliding door suitability: The flush pull makes this plate particularly well suited to sliding and cavity slider doors where a projecting handle would obstruct the door recess or pocket.
- Flush pull back to back: Minimum door thickness is 40mm when using flush pulls back to back.
- How the privacy indicator works: When the occupant engages the inside turn snib, the indicator on this exterior plate changes to show the room is occupied. When released it returns to vacant.
- Emergency release: The exterior plate incorporates an emergency release - the door can be opened from outside using a coin, flat tool or dedicated release key without damaging the furniture.
- Concealed fixings: This plate uses concealed fixing studs. The paired interior 203 plate must use visible fixings - confirm pairing before ordering.
- 202 vs 200 Series: The 202 Series has 10mm radius round corners. If square corners are required, refer to the 200 Series equivalent.
- Handing: Determined by which side the hinges are on when facing the door from outside. Left hand = hinges on the left.
- Thick doors: For doors 45-55mm, order long fixing screws SP2000-208 separately.
- Non-returnable: This item cannot be returned once ordered - confirm handing and suitability before purchasing.
