Lockwood 202 Exterior Round Corner Plate - Dual Cylinder | Satin Stainless Steel
The Lockwood 202 Series Exterior Plate with Dual Cylinder is part of the distinguished Artefact range of round corner plate door furniture. This exterior plate features two Lockwood 570 Series oval cylinder holes - providing a double-cylinder (keyed both sides) configuration on a single plate. Both cylinders are not included and must be ordered separately.
The dual cylinder configuration is used on high-security applications where keyed access is required from both the exterior and interior face of the door - such as secure storage, high-value areas, or external gates where free egress is not required. Note: Dual cylinder locks can present a fire egress hazard and must only be specified where compliant with NCC requirements and confirmed by the building certifier. No lever, turn snib or engraving. Supplied in Satin Stainless Steel in both left and right hand.

Helpful Tips
- Egress safety - critical: A dual cylinder lock restricts interior egress to key holders only. This is a fire safety issue. Confirm compliance with NCC Section D (egress) and AS1905.1 before specifying. The building certifier must confirm this configuration is appropriate.
- Both cylinders not included: Order two Lockwood 570 Series oval cylinders separately to complete the installation.
- Key management: Ensure key availability for all occupants who may need to exit in an emergency, or specify compliant thumb-turn interior cylinder alternatives if your certifier permits.
- Exterior plate - pairs with 203 Series: This is the outside face plate. It must be paired with a 203 Series interior plate (round corner) - not a 201 Series. The interior plate must use visible fixings.
- Handing: Determined by which side the hinges are on when facing the door from outside. Left hand = hinges on the left.
- 202 vs 200 Series: The 202 Series has 10mm radius round corners. For square corners refer to the equivalent 200 Series plate.
- Thick doors: For doors 45-55mm, order long fixing screws SP2000-208 separately.
- Non-returnable: Confirm finish and handing before ordering - this item cannot be returned once purchased.
