The Lockwood 202 Series Exterior Plate with Turnknob Only is part of the distinguished Artefact range of round corner plate door furniture. This exterior plate features a turnknob only on the exterior face - no lever, no cylinder, no engraving. The turnknob retracts the latch from outside, allowing entry without a key.
This configuration provides unkeyed exterior access via the turn of a knob rather than a lever handle. No cylinder is required. Suited to low-security interior applications where a turnknob form is preferred over a lever, or where the knob style complements the interior hardware specification. Supplied in Satin Stainless Steel in both left and right hand.

- No cylinder - unkeyed exterior access: The turnknob retracts the latch without a key. If keyed access is required refer to the Cylinder Only variant (20200NA) or Turnknob and Lever variant (20204NN/96).
- Exterior plate - pairs with 203 Series: This is the outside face plate. It must be paired with a 203 Series interior plate (round corner) - not a 201 Series. The interior plate must use visible fixings.
- Handing: Determined by which side the hinges are on when facing the door from outside. Left hand = hinges on the left.
- 202 vs 200 Series: The 202 Series has 10mm radius round corners. For square corners refer to the equivalent 200 Series plate.
- Thick doors: For doors 45-55mm, order long fixing screws SP2000-208 separately.
- Non-returnable: Confirm finish and handing before ordering - this item cannot be returned once purchased.

- Everbrass finishes: up to 25 years against corrosion, tarnishing and discolouration.
- Stainless steel, polished stainless steel, chrome plating and anodised finishes: typically up to 10 years.
- Decorative finishes including Antique Copper, Architectural Bronze, Oil Rubbed Bronze, Aged Brass, Polished Brass, Satin Brass and related variants: typically up to 2 years against corrosion.
- Unlacquered brass finishes will naturally age and change appearance over time. This is not considered a defect.
- Tea staining of stainless steel is not covered where cleaning and maintenance have not been followed.
What the Warranty Covers
- Defects in material and workmanship during the applicable warranty period.
- Assessment by ASSA ABLOY to determine repair, replacement with the same or closest equivalent product, or refund of purchase price.

Lockwood warranties operate in addition to rights available under the Australian Consumer Law. Goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. Customers may be entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
Where a product fails to meet acceptable quality standards and the failure does not amount to a major failure, the customer is entitled to repair or replacement.
