Lockwood 202 Exterior Round Corner Plate - Cylinder & Fixed Lever 96 | Artefact Series | Satin Stainless Steel
The Lockwood 202 Series Exterior Plate with Cylinder and Fixed Lever 96 is part of the distinguished Artefact range of round corner plate door furniture - designed, assembled and customised in Australia for the Australian market. This configuration features a Lockwood 570 Series oval cylinder hole alongside a fixed (non-operating) Lever 96 - the lever is rigidly mounted to the plate and acts as a stationary grip or pull bar. The cylinder alone operates the lock from the exterior.
Unlike a standard cylinder and lever configuration (Function 01), the fixed lever does not rotate and cannot retract the latch independently. Entry is keyed via the cylinder only. This arrangement is suited to applications where a lever-form grip is preferred over a pull handle for aesthetic or ergonomic reasons, but where latch operation from the exterior must be controlled exclusively through the key cylinder - providing an additional layer of security control.
The cylinder must be ordered separately as it is not included. The 202 Series features the same 162 x 162mm plate profile as the 200 Series but with 10mm radius corners. The plate pairs back-to-back with the 203 Series interior plate (round corner) and is compatible with Lockwood Selector 3770 and Synergy 3570 Series Mortice Locks. Supplied in Satin Stainless Steel in both left and right hand.

Helpful Tips
- Fixed lever vs standard lever - critical distinction: The lever on this plate is fixed and does not rotate. It cannot retract the latch. If a standard operating lever is required on the exterior (where the lever both grips and retracts the latch via the cylinder), specify Function 01 (20201NA/96) instead.
- How the fixed lever works in practice: The user grips the fixed lever to hold or steady the door, then turns the cylinder key to retract the latch and open the door. The lever itself provides no mechanical advantage over the latch - it functions purely as a grip.
- Cylinder not included: This plate accepts a Lockwood 570 Series oval cylinder (32mm H x 18mm W) but the cylinder is not supplied - order it separately to suit your key system.
- Exterior plate - pairs with 203 Series: This is the outside face plate. It must be paired with a 203 Series interior plate (round corner) - not a 201 Series (square corner).
- Concealed fixings: This plate uses concealed fixing studs. The paired interior 203 plate must use visible fixings - confirm this when ordering the interior plate.
- Handing: Determined by which side the hinges are on when facing the door from outside. Left hand = hinges on the left.
- 202 vs 200 Series: The 202 Series has 10mm radius round corners. If square corners are required, refer to the equivalent 200 Series plate.
- Thick doors: For doors 45-55mm, order long fixing screws SP2000-208 separately.
- Non-returnable: Confirm fixed lever functionality suits your application before ordering - this item cannot be returned once purchased.
