Lockwood 202 Exterior Round Corner Plate - Privacy Indicating Emergency Turn, Lower Cylinder & P1 Pull Handle | Right Hand | Satin Stainless Steel
The Lockwood 202 Series Exterior Plate with Privacy Indicating Emergency Turn, Lower Cylinder and P1 Pull Handle is part of the distinguished Artefact range of round corner plate door furniture - designed, assembled and customised in Australia for the Australian market. This is a specialist exterior plate combining three elements on a single 162 x 162mm round corner plate: a P1 stainless steel pull handle, a privacy indicating emergency turn displaying occupied/vacant status from outside, and a Lockwood 570 Series oval cylinder hole positioned lower on the plate.
The lower cylinder position is a deliberate design variant to accommodate the layout of all three elements on the one plate face without conflict - the P1 pull handle occupies the standard position, the privacy indicator sits centrally, and the cylinder is positioned lower to provide keyed access while maintaining a logical, uncluttered plate layout. This configuration is particularly suited to accessible amenity door applications in healthcare, aged care and public facilities where keyed management access, occupancy indication, emergency entry and a pull handle are all required on the exterior face.
The cylinder is not included and must be ordered separately. The plate pairs back-to-back with the 203 Series interior plate (round corner) and is compatible with Lockwood Selector 3770 and Synergy 3570 Series Mortice Locks, latches and push/pull doors. Supplied in Satin Stainless Steel, Right Hand.

Helpful Tips
- Lower cylinder position: The cylinder hole on this plate is positioned lower than the standard cylinder position to accommodate the pull handle and privacy indicating emergency turn on the same plate face. Confirm this layout suits your door and lock configuration before ordering.
- Cylinder not included: This plate accepts a Lockwood 570 Series oval cylinder (32mm H x 18mm W) but the cylinder is not supplied - order it separately to suit your key system.
- How the privacy indicator works: When the inside occupant engages the turn snib, the indicator on this exterior plate changes to show the room is occupied. When the snib is released it returns to vacant.
- Emergency release: The exterior plate allows staff or carers to open the door in an emergency using a coin, flat tool or dedicated release key without damaging the furniture.
- Standard vs this variant: If a cylinder is not required on the exterior plate, the standard pull handle + privacy indicating emergency turn plate (Function 28, item code 20228NN/P1) may be more appropriate.
- Exterior plate - pairs with 203 Series: This is the outside face plate. It must be paired with a 203 Series interior plate (round corner) - not a 201 Series (square corner).
- Concealed fixings: This plate uses concealed fixing studs. The paired interior 203 plate must use visible fixings - confirm this when ordering the interior plate.
- Right Hand only: This SKU is right hand only. If left hand is required, contact us to confirm availability.
- Handing: Right hand = hinges on the right when facing the door from outside.
- Thick doors: For doors 45-55mm, order long fixing screws SP2000-208 separately.
- Non-returnable: This item cannot be returned once ordered - confirm all requirements before purchasing.
