Lockwood 202 Exterior Round Corner Plate - Privacy Indicating Turnknob & Lever 96 | Synergy 3570 Series | Satin Stainless Steel
The Lockwood 202 Series Exterior Plate with Privacy Indicating Turnknob and Lever 96 is part of the distinguished Artefact range of round corner plate door furniture - designed, assembled and customised in Australia for the Australian market. This exterior plate is designed for use with the Lockwood Synergy 3570 Series Mortice Lock and combines a privacy indicating turnknob with a DDA-compliant Lever 96 for lever-operated exterior entry.
The privacy indicating turnknob displays occupied or vacant status from the outside when the inside occupant engages the turn snib. Unlike the emergency turn variant (Function 14), this turnknob configuration does not include an emergency release from the outside - exterior entry is via Lever 96 and the associated lock only. This makes it appropriate for privacy amenity door applications where occupancy indication is required but external override access is managed through the key system rather than a coin-slot emergency release.
The 202 Series features the same 162 x 162mm plate profile as the 200 Series but with 10mm radius corners. The plate pairs back-to-back with the 203 Series interior plate (round corner). Supplied in Satin Stainless Steel in both left and right hand.

Helpful Tips
- Synergy 3570 Series lock only: This plate uses cylinder code N, designating it for the Lockwood Synergy 3570 Series Mortice Lock. If you are using a Selector 3770 Series lock, specify the NS variant (item code 20216NS/96) instead - do not order this SKU for a 3770 Series installation.
- Turnknob vs Emergency Turn - critical distinction: Function 16 (this plate) uses a privacy indicating turnknob - it shows occupied/vacant but has no emergency release from the outside. If an emergency release is required, specify Function 14 (Privacy Indicating Emergency Turn and Lever 96, item code 20214NN/96). Consult your building certifier if you are unsure which is appropriate for your accessible amenity application.
- Exterior plate - pairs with 203 Series: This is the outside face plate. It must be paired with a 203 Series interior plate (round corner) - not a 201 Series (square corner).
- Concealed fixings: This plate uses concealed fixing studs. The paired interior 203 plate must use visible fixings - confirm this when ordering the interior plate.
- Handing: Determined by which side the hinges are on when facing the door from outside. Left hand = hinges on the left.
- Thick doors: For doors 45-55mm, order long fixing screws SP2000-208 separately.
- Non-returnable: Confirm lock series compatibility and handing before ordering - this item cannot be returned once purchased.
