Lockwood 202 Exterior Round Corner Plate - Cylinder & Horizontal P1 Pull Handle | Artefact Series

The Lockwood 202 Series Exterior Plate with Cylinder and Horizontal P1 Pull Handle is part of the distinguished Artefact range of round corner plate door furniture - designed, assembled and customised in Australia for the Australian market. This exterior plate configuration combines a horizontal P1 stainless steel pull handle with a Lockwood 570 Series oval cylinder hole, providing keyed entry access alongside a pull handle specifically oriented for sliding and cavity slider doors.

The horizontal pull handle orientation (HP1) positions the handle bar parallel to the door edge, matching the natural lateral pulling motion used when operating a sliding door. This makes the plate the correct choice wherever a cylinder-controlled sliding door is required - such as sliding entry doors, large-format cavity sliders and suspended sliding systems in commercial and institutional buildings. The cylinder must be ordered separately as it is not included with this plate.

The 202 Series features the same 162 x 162mm plate profile as the 200 Series but with 10mm radius corners. The plate pairs back-to-back with the 203 Series interior plate (round corner) and is compatible with Lockwood Selector 3770 and Synergy 3570 Series Mortice Locks, latches and push/pull doors. Supplied in Satin Stainless Steel in both left and right hand.

Helpful Tips Helpful Tips

  • Horizontal vs vertical pull handle: This plate uses the HP1 horizontal pull handle, oriented parallel to the door edge for lateral sliding door operation. If a vertical pull handle is required on a hinged door, refer to the standard vertical P1 variant (item code prefix 20225NA/P1).
  • Cylinder not included: This plate accepts a Lockwood 570 Series oval cylinder (32mm H x 18mm W) but the cylinder is not supplied - order it separately to suit your key system.
  • Confirm mortice lock compatibility for sliding doors: Not all Lockwood mortice locks are suited to sliding door applications. Confirm that the lock you are pairing with this plate is rated and approved for sliding or cavity slider use.
  • Exterior plate - pairs with 203 Series: This is the outside face plate. It must be paired with a 203 Series interior plate (round corner) - not a 201 Series (square corner).
  • Concealed fixings: This plate uses concealed fixing studs. The paired interior 203 plate must use visible fixings - confirm this when ordering the interior plate.
  • Handing: Determined by which side the hinges or pivot point are on when facing the door from outside. Left hand = hinges/pivot on the left.
  • 202 vs 200 Series: The 202 Series has 10mm radius round corners. If square corners are required, refer to the equivalent 200 Series plate.
  • Thick doors: For doors 45-55mm, order long fixing screws SP2000-208 separately.
  • Non-returnable: This item cannot be returned once ordered - confirm handle orientation, handing and cylinder compatibility before purchasing.
