Borg Mechanical Digital Lock Tumbler S515 Coded - Red / Silver - Suits 5000 Series (Non-ECP)

The Borg S515 is a coded tumbler for non-ECP Borg 5000 Series mechanical digital keypads. The coded tumblers are the ones that make up the lock's code - they sit in the code positions, while the non-coded tumblers fill the rest. The S515 is identified by its red and silver colour.

It is a coded tumbler, it is non-ECP 5000 Series only, and it is special order, non-returnable.

Compatible Locks

The S515 suits non-ECP Borg 5000 Series locks such as the BL5001, BL5051 and BL5201MG. The non-coded companion is the S514. The 2000, 3000 and 4000 Series use the S213 (coded) and S214 (non-coded) instead.

How the coded tumblers set the code is explained in our bench code-change guide.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it suit ECP 5000 Series keypads?
No. This tumbler is for non-ECP 5000 Series keypads only.
What does 'coded' mean here?
The coded tumblers sit in the positions that make up the code. Moving which positions are coded is how the lock's code is changed on the bench.
Can it be used in 2000, 3000 or 4000 Series locks?
No - those take the S213 or S214.

Additional Information

The tumblers are the code. On a non-ECP Borg lock the code is set by which positions carry coded tumblers - background in changing codes on mechanical digital locks.
Confirm the series and ECP status. Using the wrong tumbler for the keypad series, or an ECP lock, will stop the keypad working. Confirm both before ordering.
