Installation and Styling Tips
- **Ensure Proper Alignment:** When installing the Zanda 5351.SS flush pull, ensure that it is perfectly aligned with the door edge to maintain a seamless look. Use a spirit level to check horizontal and vertical alignment before securing it in place to prevent any misalignment that could disrupt the clean lines of your installation.
- **Consider Door Thickness:** Given the 40mm depth of the pull, it is essential to match it with the thickness of your door. For oversized cavity sliders or pivot doors, ensure that the door can accommodate the recess depth without compromising structural integrity. If your door is thinner, consider adding a spacer or selecting a different pull that better suits the thickness.
- **Match Finishes:** To enhance the aesthetic appeal, pair the satin stainless steel finish of the flush pull with other hardware elements, like hinges or door stops, in the same finish. This creates a cohesive look and elevates the overall design of your space.
- **Lighting Considerations:** Install the flush pull at a height that allows for comfortable use while also being visually appealing. Additionally, consider positioning the pull near a light source to highlight its sleek design and material finish, creating a striking focal point when the door is closed.
- **Enhance Grip with Textured Surrounds:** For added functionality, consider surrounding the flush pull with a textured or contrasting material, such as a wood or stone inlay. This not only enhances grip but also adds a layer of design interest that complements the modern aesthetic of the satin stainless steel pull.
Care Tips
- To maintain the satin stainless steel finish of your Zanda 5351.SS flush pull, clean it regularly with a solution of warm water and a few drops of mild dish soap. Use a soft microfiber cloth to wipe the surface in the direction of the grain to avoid scratching. This will help remove fingerprints and smudges while preserving the finish's shine.
- For tougher stains or water spots on the stainless steel, create a paste of baking soda and water. Apply it gently with a soft cloth, allowing it to sit for a few minutes before rinsing with warm water and drying thoroughly with a clean cloth. This method is safe, environmentally friendly, and effective for restoring the surface without harsh chemicals.
- To prevent corrosion and maintain the long-lasting durability of your flush pull, consider applying a light coating of mineral oil after cleaning. This can help protect the satin finish from moisture and environmental factors, ensuring that the pull remains both functional and visually appealing over time.
