Burg-Wächter Key Safe 20 - Wall-Mount Combination Key Safe, 12cm Capacity
The Burg-Wächter Key Safe 20 is a battery-free wall-mount key safe for keys up to 12cm long, the longest key length in the Burg-Wächter key safe range. Its magnetic key holder holds keys horizontally across the base of the interior rather than hanging them from a hook, so longer keys and fobs that will not fit the hook-based Burg-Wächter Key Safe 10 lie flat. The die-cast zinc body opens on a 4-dial resettable mechanical combination with 10,000 possible codes.
Like the Key Safe 10, it has no shutter flap over the dials, so mount it where it is sheltered from direct rain - the Burg-Wächter Key Safe 30 and Burg-Wächter Key Safe 40 are better suited to exposed spots. No power, Wi-Fi or app is required. See the full key storage range.

How does the magnetic holder work?

- Reset mechanism - Key Safe 10 and 20: The Burg-Wächter Key Safe 10 and Key Safe 20 use an older reset mechanism: a small black cap around the silver reset pin on the inside of the box must be removed before the pin will move, and re-seated flush afterwards. The Burg-Wächter Key Safe 30, 40 and 50 do not have this step. Follow the included instruction sheet carefully.
- Installation: Fix to a solid masonry, brick or timber wall using all four corner holes on the back plate. Drill 8mm holes, insert the supplied plugs and secure with the supplied screws; Burg-Wächter notes that some wall types need special dowels for a secure anchor. Choose a location that is discreet but has enough light for the authorised user to read the dials, and keep the lid closed when not in use. Make sure the position is sheltered from direct rain.
