Lockwood 1220 Symphony Euro Profile Cylinder Escutcheon - Satin Chrome

The Lockwood 1226ESC is a surface mounted Euro Profile Cylinder Escutcheon from the 1220 Symphony Series in Satin Chrome Brushed finish, designed to cover and frame a standard Euro profile cylinder on the door face.

The Euro Profile Cylinder Escutcheon suits applications where a Euro profile (double oval or DIN standard) cylinder is installed rather than the standard Lockwood oval cylinder. Surface fixed with four wood screws. Supplied as a single escutcheon in Satin Chrome Brushed finish. Dimensions are consistent with the wider 1220 Symphony Series escutcheon range.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is a Euro Profile Cylinder?
A Euro profile cylinder (also known as a DIN profile or double oval cylinder) is a cylinder format common in European-standard locksets. It differs from the standard Lockwood oval cylinder and requires a specific escutcheon cutout. The 1226ESC is designed to suit this format.
  • Is the 1226ESC compatible with the 6260 Privacy Bolt?
No. The Euro Profile Cylinder Escutcheon is not compatible with the Lockwood 6260 Privacy Bolt.
  • Is this product available in other finishes?
This SKU is Satin Chrome Brushed only. Contact your Lockwood distributor for alternate finish availability.
  • Is this sold as a single escutcheon?
Yes. The 1226ESC is a single escutcheon ordered per face as required.

Additional Information

  • Euro Profile vs Oval Cylinder:
The 1226ESC is designed specifically for Euro profile (double oval) cylinders. It is not interchangeable with the standard 1226/I oval cylinder escutcheon. Confirm the cylinder profile installed before ordering.
  • Consistent Series Appearance:
The 1226ESC shares the same 53mm rose diameter and 12mm projection as all other 1220 Symphony Series escutcheons, maintaining a consistent appearance alongside other Symphony Series door furniture.
  • Single Finish SKU:
Supplied in Satin Chrome Brushed only. No colour variants available under this part number.
