Helpful Tips
- Cylinder not included: This plate accepts a Lockwood 570 Series oval cylinder (32mm H x 18mm W) but the cylinder is not supplied - order separately to suit your key system.
- Handing: The 212 Series exterior plate is handed. Determined by which side the hinges are on when facing the door from outside - Left hand = hinges on the left. Contact us to confirm handing before ordering.
- Exterior plate - pairs with 213 Series: This is the outside face plate with concealed fixings. It must be paired with a 213 Series interior plate (oval, visible fixings). Do not pair with 212 exterior-to-exterior.
- 212 vs 200/202 Series: The 212 Series uses a slimmer oval plate (162 x 50mm with radius ends), compared to the 162 x 162mm square/radius corner plates of the 200/202 Series. Specify 212 where a narrower plate profile is required.
- Thick doors: For doors 45-55mm, order long fixing screws SP2000-208 separately.
- Non-returnable: Confirm handing, cylinder compatibility and finish before ordering - this item cannot be returned once purchased.
