FAQ icon Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I confirm this is the correct face plate?
Confirm your lock is a dormakaba 950 Series and that it uses the 37 mm bolt configuration.
  • Is this a complete lock?
No. This product is the face plate only. The lock body and strike are supplied separately.
  • What is a common installation mistake?
Using a plate for a different bolt projection can cause bolt binding. Always match the plate to the lock configuration.

Additional information icon Additional Information

  • Long face plates are commonly used to tidy door edges after lock changes or repairs.
  • Measure the existing plate before removal to minimise additional timber work.
  • Check that the bolt moves freely after installation and is not pinched by the plate opening.
