Frequently Asked Questions
- Does this include the lock core?
No. This is the lock body only. A compatible Symo 3000 core must be ordered separately. - What is the difference between 22mm and 32mm cylinder housing length?
This model uses a shorter 22mm cylinder housing length. It is important to match the housing length to the existing door or drawer preparation and the core type being used. - Is this lock body interchangeable between left and right hand?
No. It is specified as left hand locking direction. Confirm handing before ordering.
Additional Information
- When replacing Symo lock bodies, the cylinder housing length is a common mismatch point. Measure the existing housing projection before ordering.
- Left hand and right hand versions are selected based on door or drawer orientation and where the bolt needs to travel into the frame or strike.
- Interchangeable core furniture locks can simplify maintenance because access can be re-keyed by replacing the core rather than changing the lock body.
