Frequently Asked Questions
- Is this the complete top centre assembly?
No. DO8066U is the upper portion of the Dorma Top Centre 8066 assembly. - What floor spring range does this suit?
It is listed as suiting the Dorma BTS series floor spring systems. - What should be checked during installation or replacement?
Check door and frame preparation depth and confirm correct pivot alignment. Incorrect alignment can lead to binding and accelerated bearing wear.
Additional Information
- This part is typically used where the door or frame profile depth needs adjustment so the pivot line matches the floor spring spindle.

- When servicing a floor spring door, inspect the mating components for wear marks that can indicate misalignment, not just bearing failure.
