FAQ
What is a hook mortice lock?
A hook mortice lock uses a curved hook bolt rather than a straight deadbolt. It is typically used on sliding or bifold doors where a conventional deadbolt would not engage securely.
What does 85mm pitch mean?
Pitch is the vertical distance between the centre of the spindle hub and the centre of the cylinder.
Can this be used on hinged doors?
No. Hook mortice locks are designed specifically for sliding or bifold door applications.
