Lockwood 1220 Symphony Disabled Accessible Turnknob Escutcheon - Non-Indicating - Surface Fix
The Lockwood 1229/IN is a surface mounted Disabled Accessible Turnknob escutcheon from the 1220 Symphony Series, supplied as a single escutcheon for fixing to one face of a door. This is the non-indicating variant - it does not include a privacy indicator.
The Disabled Accessible Turnknob uses a lever-style handle to allow locking without the pinch-grip or rotational force needed to operate a standard round turnknob. Designed for users with limited grip strength or dexterity and commonly specified where lever-operated interior privacy locking is required.
Surface mounted escutcheons are optimised for use with Lockwood Synergy 3570 Series Mortice Locks. Also compatible with PT Mortice Locks and the Lockwood 6260 Privacy Bolt. Note: the 1229/IN is not compatible with Selector 3770 Series Mortice Locks. Supplied with Short and Medium wood screws and tail bars. Replaces the previous 1227DT.
