Do timber and aluminium variants use the same fixings?
No, fixing screws are supplied to suit the intended door and frame material for each variant.
Additional Information
- Kinked fast fix hinges are commonly specified where doors do not sit square due to frame tolerances.
- Short self-tapping screws supplied with aluminium variants must not be used for timber door installations.
- For heavy or tall doors, hinge quantity and placement should be confirmed against door manufacturer guidance.
