The Lockwood 212 Series Artefact Exterior Oval Plate with Privacy Indicating Emergency Turn and Lever 96 provides both lever-operated latch release and a privacy indicator that shows occupied/vacant status from the exterior. The emergency turn allows the interior snib to be released from outside in an emergency situation. No cylinder - this plate operates in conjunction with the interior privacy snib via the indicator and emergency turn mechanism.
Available in Natural Anodised Aluminium and Satin Stainless Steel. Lever is reversible. Pairs with the 213 Series interior plate. Note: when ordering with the Selector 3770 Series, replace NN with NS in the order code.

- Privacy indicator: The indicator is visible from outside - shows when the interior is locked/occupied. Useful for single-occupancy rooms, bathrooms and amenity spaces.
- Emergency override: In an emergency the interior turn can be released from the exterior - important for compliant accessible toilet installations.
- Selector 3770 Series: Specify NS instead of NN when ordering with the Selector 3770 lock.
- Lever handing: The lever is reversible - it can be flipped by removing the stop screw to suit either hand without needing to specify handing at order.
- Exterior plate - pairs with 213 Series: This is the outside face plate with concealed fixings. It must be paired with a 213 Series interior plate (oval, visible fixings).
- Thick doors: For doors 45-55mm, order long fixing screws SP2000-208 separately.

- Everbrass finishes: up to 25 years against corrosion, tarnishing and discolouration.
- Stainless steel, polished stainless steel, chrome plating and anodised finishes: typically up to 10 years.
- Decorative finishes including Antique Copper, Architectural Bronze, Oil Rubbed Bronze, Aged Brass, Polished Brass, Satin Brass and related variants: typically up to 2 years against corrosion.
- Unlacquered brass finishes will naturally age and change appearance over time. This is not considered a defect.
- Tea staining of stainless steel is not covered where cleaning and maintenance have not been followed.
