The Lockwood 200 Series Artefact exterior plate measures 162mm x 162mm and features square corners with concealed fixing. This configuration includes a cylinder hole and P1 pull handle, suitable for use on push/pull and mortice lock applications.
Concealed fixed plates incorporate internal threaded studs at each corner. Plates are fixed back-to-back through the door when paired with the corresponding internal plate.

Yes. The Artefact 200 Series has been successfully tested up to 4 hours when installed with an approved Lockwood mortice lock on fire door assemblies, in accordance with AS1905.1:2005. Fire performance is dependent on the full door assembly.
What door thickness does this plate suit?
Standard fixing screws suit doors 35mm to 45mm thick. For doors 45mm to 55mm thick, longer fixing screws (SP2000-208) must be specified.
Is the P1 pull handle handed?
Yes. Plates incorporating pull handles are handed. Left-hand and right-hand variants must be selected when ordering.
What cylinder type does this exterior plate accept?
This configuration is prepared for a Lockwood 570 series oval cylinder. Guarded oval cylinder options are available depending on specification.
Is Marine Grade stainless suitable for coastal environments?

- Decorative finishes including Antique Copper, Architectural Bronze, Oil Rubbed Bronze, Aged Brass, Polished Brass, Satin Brass and related variants: typically up to 2 years against corrosion.
- Unlacquered brass finishes will naturally age and change appearance over time. This is not considered a defect.
- Tea staining of stainless steel is not covered where cleaning and maintenance have not been followed.
