Lockwood Induro 4-Point Hinged Door Mortice Locks — LW7240S
The Lockwood Induro 4-Point Mortice Lock delivers higher security and better door sealing on hinged residential aluminium and large panel doors. A lift-bolt throws into the strike to compress the door for improved air/water performance, with optional shootbolts (rods kits) enabling true multi-point locking. The Induro range retains the Optimum installation footprint for straightforward retrofits.

- Lift-bolt compression improves sealing vs projection-bolt predecessors.
- Sequence-agnostic locking — can lock with or without shootbolts thrown.
- Reversible latch for field-selectable handing.
- Stainless steel faceplate; durable internal mechanism.
- Accepts 7.6 mm or 8 mm spindle; latch can be deadlocked by key.
- Backsets: 30 mm and 40 mm.
- Door thickness: 32–45 mm.
- Tested to AS4145.2 — Security S7 / Durability D7.
Operation & Lock Status
- Single-point (Latch): Handle-down retracts latch; door self-latches on close.
- 4-Point / Multi-point: Lift handle to throw lift-bolt and (if fitted) shootbolts; handle-down retracts all.
- Passage: Free access both sides.
- Safety: Snib from inside; key required from outside.
- Secure: Locked both sides; key required either side.
