The Yale YK16/CLA/SS Key In Knob Classroom Set is designed for controlled access applications where external key operation is required while maintaining free egress from the inside.

This single cylinder classroom function allows the outside knob to be locked or unlocked by key, while the inside knob remains free at all times for safe exit.

With a 60mm backset, it suits standard Australian door preparation and integrates with Yale Commercial Series cylindrical locksets.

Fire Rated

Yale Commercial Series cylindrical locksets have been successfully tested for up to 2 hours fire resistance on approved door assemblies in accordance with AS1905.1.

Fire rating applies to the complete doorset configuration and not the lockset as a standalone item.

  1. Retain proof of original purchase.
  2. If purchased from an authorised retailer or reseller, return the product to that original seller with claim details and proof of purchase.
  3. If claiming direct with ASSA ABLOY, contact customer service first and obtain a Case Number.
  4. Securely package the product and include proof of purchase.
  5. Clearly mark the Case Number on the outside of the packaging for direct claims.
  6. ASSA ABLOY will assess the claim and determine repair, replacement or refund if the warranty applies.
