FAQ icon Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can this keypad work as a standalone controller without a separate access control panel?
Yes. It supports standalone operation and stores up to 2000 user codes.
  • What card and fob types does the built-in reader support?
It supports 125 kilohertz EM and HID credentials and 13.56 megahertz Mifare credentials. Read range depends on credential frequency and how the unit is mounted.
  • What is a common installation mistake to avoid?
Avoid placing the keypad wiring directly alongside high voltage cables, as electrical noise can affect reader performance. Keep separation and use correct cable routing to the controller.

Additional information icon Additional Information

  • Mullion keypads are commonly selected where the mounting surface is narrow, such as aluminium shopfronts and door jambs.
  • If using Wiegand output, confirm the bit format and wiring requirements at the access controller before final termination.
  • Where multiple credential types are used on site, set consistent enrolment rules to prevent duplicate identifiers across different card formats.
