FSH FSS1-F High Security Door Monitoring Sensor
The FSH FSS1-F is a high security, flush-mounted door monitoring sensor designed for critical applications where conventional magnetic reed switches are not suitable. Using seven Hall-effect sensors and a multi-magnet array, the FSS1-F learns and verifies a unique magnetic footprint for each door, providing robust resistance to spoofing, substitution, and magnetic interference.
The FSS1 series is specifically developed for government, correctional, military, and high-security commercial installations and is listed on the Security Equipment Evaluated Product List (SEEPL).

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the FSS1-F suitable for sliding doors?
No. The FSS1 series is designed for hinged doors only.
Can the sensor be recalibrated?
Yes. The sensor supports recalibration to compensate for door movement or alignment changes.
Does this replace balanced magnetic reed switches?
Yes. The FSS1 provides significantly higher security than traditional balanced reed sensors.
Additional Information
- Flush mounting using supplied tabs is mandatory for SCEC-compliant installations.
- Calibration must be completed on first power-up and after significant door movement.
- Foreign magnetic fields will prevent successful calibration.
