The ASSA ABLOY ES8100 is a fully monitored V-Lock electric locking bolt engineered as the successor to the Lockwood and Trimec ES8000 series. Retaining the original ES8000 footprint, the ES8100 allows direct retrofit while delivering enhanced performance, diagnostics and monitoring for high security access control applications.

- Field selectable fail safe (PTL) and fail secure (PTO).
- Unlocks under preload up to 100 kg in 3-wire mode.
- Locks under preload up to 20 kg at 12 W and 35 kg at 24 W.
- 1000 kg holding force.
- On-board diagnostic and lock status LED indicator.
- IP53 rated for external door applications.
- Allows door misalignment up to 12 mm total (+/-6 mm).
- Vertical or horizontal mounting (not suitable for floor mounting).
- Durability tested to 500,000 cycles.
