CS 12 Input and 4 Relay Output Expansion Board
The CS4270 is a 12 monitored input and 4 relay expansion board designed for CS Technologies EVO controllers. It expands alarm input capacity while adding relay outputs for auxiliary control functions.
Key Features
- Connects to the controller using the included ribbon cable.
- Up to five alarm expansion boards can be connected to one EVO controller.
- Adds twelve monitored four state inputs including open, closed, open circuit, and short circuit.
- Input monitoring can be disabled via software.
- Adds four C Form relay outputs.
- Each relay provides normally open and normally closed contacts.
- Maximum 24 volts direct current switching per relay.
- Cannot be combined with 16 way expansion boards on the same EVO controller.
- Requires version 3.5 board.
- Designed and manufactured in Australia.

| CS4323 | Expansion Board | 16 way input expansion board for high input count systems. |
Frequently Asked Questions
- Can this be used with 16 way expansion boards?
No. CS4270 cannot be combined with 16 way expansion boards on the same EVO controller. - How many boards can be connected?
Up to five CS4270 expansion boards can be connected to one EVO controller. - Do the inputs require resistors?
Yes. Four state monitoring uses two 10 kilo ohm resistors per input.
Additional Information
- This board is commonly used where both additional monitored inputs and relay outputs are required without upgrading the controller.
- If only input expansion is required, a 16 way input board may be more appropriate.
- Relay outputs are limited to low voltage switching only.
