Briton Exit Device 377E Double Panic Bolt with Dogging - Satin Chrome

The Briton 377E with dogging is a double door panic bolt designed for emergency egress on double door applications. It provides top and bottom latching and allows both doors to be secured closed while still permitting emergency exit from either door.

This configuration includes a manual dogging (hold open) function, allowing the bolts to be held in the withdrawn position when required. Due to this feature, dogging is not suitable for fire door applications.

The 377E assembly is specified as consisting of the 376E, 378E and 378DDS strike plate.
